This is Senator Lou D’Allesandro’s (D-Manchester) nineteenth effort to legalize casino video gaming in the state, and every successive bill’s annual defeat in the House has become something of the brand New Hampshire tradition, a bit like Rochester Fair but less fun.
Still, the good senator is nothing if maybe not dogged, and D’Allesandro believes, just as he has each year, very nearly for the previous two decades, that this is the 12 months to obtain the business done.
